Our host, Mike Hoffman, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Longhorn Investments, draws from his vast experience in law, real estate lending and investment management to engage in thoughtful and value driven conversations with his guests.
We endeavor to bring together thought leaders and relevant industry participants to help our audience learn and benefit from the knowledge and perspective of others. While the podcast will certainly be real estate lending centric, we intend to explore themes that can resonate with everyone. We look forward to sharing this journey with you.

Michael L. Hoffman is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Longhorn III Investments, LLC (“Longhorn”), a Dallas, TX based originator and servicer of real estate loans to investors focused on “fix & flip” and new construction single family residences in 10 states across the US. Longhorn was founded in 2008 and has originated over 10,000 loans and over $1.8 billion dollars. Mike is also the manager of Trident Realty Investments, LLC, an affiliated private equity fund with over 464 investors and $222 million dollars of capital. Mike manages a law firm whose primary focus is real estate transactions and is a fee office for Chicago Title.
Prior to starting Longhorn, Mike was in private practice managing a firm whose practices included real estate, personal injury litigation, corporate structure, estate planning, and tax law. Mike has been a licensed attorney since 1994. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with a B.A. in Government in 1991, and then graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1994.
